Compost Operation

Ecology has its own composting operation, where we ship green waste from Southern California via railcar to Vicksburg, AZ.

There, we process it into bulk compost.

Finished compost is sold in bulk to farmers, who use it to enrich their soil for crops, fruits, and vegetables. Wholesalers sell it to landscapers and bulk consumers, and to companies that package it for nurseries and home centers.

Our composting farm sits on roughly 10 acres, with open space available to expand our operation as needed.
